Lily is 10 months...
and crazy as ever :) She is a "talking", signing, crawling, pulling herself up, coasting on furniture, taking single steps (when she feels like it), developing favorites, eating real people food, developing a sense of humor, teething (#4), still not sleeping, dancing, singing, laughing, screaming, ball of energy!
Lily is really such a joy and blessing to have in my life. The recent passing of my friends baby kinda of put everything back into perspective for me. I may complain about waking up a million times a night or complain about what a crazy thrasher Lils is, but in reality she is MY crazy thrasher and she is healthy, amazing, and full of life. I could never imagine loosing her and get choked up just thinking about it. Tammi would do anything to have her baby here with her, waking up and crying all the time. She doesn't get that, and I am incredibly thankful that I do.
I am waaaay busy lately. Working full time as a sub teacher, going to school to finish my bachelor's degree, and starting the pre-reqs to my credientialling program. I have little time at home, and take advantage of every waking minute I have with her. I hope she know's this is all for her. I am working my butt off to better our family and our future. I want her to be proud of me and I know she will be. The hard work will pay off eventually. Until then, I will just keep my head up and push on through. lOve you beautiful girl.

Please mommy, don’t cry, do not be sad.
Treasure the time how ever short we had.
I miss you too, but I can feel your love.
Even up here flying, like a little dove.
I know it seems scary, and you feel all alone.
No one can ever replace me, I was your own.
Your sadness means I was loved every day.
Though you can’t see me, beside you I lay.
It takes so much courage, for you to go on.
I know our time together, wasn’t very long.
But you now will be stronger for knowing me.
It will be okay some day mommy, you will soon see.
In the times that are hard, remember I am here.
Never far from you watching; always very near.
It isn’t fair we have to live so far away.
But don’t worry; I hear everything that you say.
I am with you with every step that you take.
Sending reminders I love you, for your sake.
I grew in your womb but then slipped away.
Instead now forever in your heart I will stay.

May you rest in peace baby girl. You were so beautiful and I wish you were here to be with your mommy.

I'm pretty sure my baby is a genius. :)
But I'm sure every mom thinks so. lol. But I have proof! Lily can say 10 words!! I know I know, she is only nine months... but I swear she says them and I am not the only one who hears them! Lily says:
1. Mama
2. Dada
3. Daddy
4. Baba (bottle)
5. Bye Bye
6. Hi
7. uh oh
8. all done
9. dog
10. cat
crazy, I know.
Also, we are still working on it. But she shows me her eyes, nose, and tongue. Most of the time it requires some mommy modeling, but she does it by herself too! She is growing up too fast. waaaah!

It's been too long!
I appologize to anyone who reads this because it has been soooo long since I have written. I am beyond busy with my thrasher of a daughter, working, and school overtime. Lily will be nine months in just four days. Oh my goodness, time flies. In order to catch up here is a quick overview of what we have been up too the past couple months:
1. Mother's day was wonderful! Travis got me a ring of intertwining sterling silver that is engraved with Travis and Lily, we went to dinner and just stayed at home as a family.
2. Father's day was just as wonderful! We got Travis an engraved key chain that reads, "Lily loves Daddy." and his favorite cologne, Aqua De Gio, mmmhhhmmm. :)
3. We moved! We bought a gorgeous new home in manteca. It is in a beautiful neighborhood, our neighbors are so nice, and it is in the best school in town's area. It is safe and everything is brand new! I love having a nice home to come home to and to raise our baby girl in.
4. Lily is crawling! Everywhere! She is absolutely crazy! She gets into everything, and sadly is constantly falling and getting lots of owies. She is a tough girl though. Sometimes I feel like I want to put a helmet on her, but that is more of my fear of serious injury. She is just so curious and loves exploring. She is starting to come when I call her and venture into other rooms. She keeps me on my toes, and keeps me looking forward to nap times. haha.
5. Lily says:: mama, dada, daddy, cat, dog, yea, more. She nods her head (more like her whole body) to say yes, especially when I am telling her no! She claps when someone says "yay!" and she signs for more. What a smart baby!
6. Lily pulls her self up on the couch or anything else she can reach to pull up on. It is only a matter of time until she is walking.
Here are some likes and dislikes I have from the past two months:
Likes:
1. Hearing my baby girl talk
2. Her ever growing curiosity
3. Her belly laugh
4. Her snuggles
5. When she randomly kisses me
6. When she reaches for me
7. How social she is
8. Her looooong hair and all her bows
9. Her freshly painted pink toes.
10. How much she loves her daddy
11. Everything about her :)
Dislikes:
1. Still not sleeping through the night.... ugh.
2. When she screams until she barfs... everywhere.
3. Poop in the bathtub
4. When she falls and gets yet another bruise
5. When she won't let me put her down, more or less leave the room
6. How picky this little girl is
7. When she slaps me, bites me, pulls my hair
8. When she gets into things she is not supposed too (formula. all. over. the. floor.)
9. Stomach flu/ teething
10. How she wakes up at 6 am everyday.
11. When we are "that family" with the screaming baby.
Although the likes greatly outweigh the dislikes, they are still there. I am not gunna lie, being a mom is HARD! and draining. But it is worth every minute. I love my little one more than anything in the entire world. I would give up anything to make her happy. She completes me and I do not remember what life was like with out her, oh yea wait... yea I do. QUIET! lol. I love you my beautiful almost nine month old Beanie, Lily Grace. <3

7 months :)
Baby Lily has been super busy growing, growing, GROWING! She is getting soooo big. She is officially a mobile baby. Not quite crawling but scooting and rolling like a crazy baby. She can stand up, while holding on to something too. She loves to eat and would much rather be on the floor playing than in my arms (thank the Lord because sometime I feel like my arm is going to fall off.) She babbles quite a bit "Babababa," but no Mama yet :( She waves and says "bye" and says "mo" when she wants more food. She has recently decided she no longer likes to get her hair washed, which is crazy being as I have washed it everyday since she was born.
Poor Lily is teething. She has two teeth on the bottom and is getting two more on the bottom. Her poor gums are all swollen and she chews on everything. She is fussy, getting up anywhere from 1- 9 (!!!) times a night. There are times where I just sleep in the rocking chair with her because she won't sleep if I put her down.
She is at a fun stage. Developing quite the personality. I am now off work for the summer and I can't wait to spend sunny days at the park with our many baby friends and swimming in grandma's new pool!

Happy half birthday, Little one.
Lily is six months old! I can not believe it! She has two teeth, is sitting up unassisted, laughs like crazy, and babbles in baby language. She loves all her baby food (minus one allergic-reaction-hives-all-over incident) and is trying soooo hard to crawl. She climbs out of my lap to the couch or floor, but then just does this fish out of water type of dance. She can roll all around the house basically, too bad we don't have carpet so she doesn't get to practice too often. She is 16 lbs and 27 1/2 inches! She is wearing size 6-9 months clothes, sometimes even 6-12 months! A bittersweet moment the other morning... I was getting her dressed and I realized the patch of newborn hair that was left right above her tushy is gone! waaahhh! She is no longer a BABYbaby. :( Where has the time gone? I never understood what people meant when they say they grow up to fast. But now I get it, and they weren't joking.
Lily is seriously the biggest blessing I have ever had. I can't imagine life with out her. I know I complain about not sleeping, or never having a moment to myself, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Being a mom feels so right and I am so happy God chose me to be the mama to this beautiful little angel. Before I know it, we are going to be setting up for her first birthday! I love you Lily Grace! <3
